Hi everyone! We are back home, safe and sound. We left Hong Kong on Friday at 11:45 am, and arrived in San Francisco at 8 something in the morning, also on Friday! Kind of strange to arrive before we left! LOL Anyway, Immigration stamped Rory's passport at 9:05 am on Friday, and she is officially a US Citizen. The flight was uneventful but long, and we are really tired. Then we flew from San Fran to Denver and were greeted by friends and family, which was wonderful!
Rory is adjusting to home life, at least during the day. Nighttime is another story! She screams for hours on end, and doesn't seem to need sleep, ever. We are working on it and actually got her to sleep for a couple of hours last night. But Scott, Ronan and I are another story. Hopefully we'll get caught up eventually!
Rory was scared of the dogs when we first came home, but she has come around and Scott caught her starting to feed them Cheerios the other day. She calls them both by name, and likes to pet them.
She has confiscated the TV remotes, she thinks they're phones, and she "talks" on them all the time. Very cute.
She took to the car seat right away. We thought she wouldn't like it, having never been in one, but she was smiling the first time we put her in, and now she tries to buckle herself in. Thank goodness that went well!
Sorry this post took so long, we are seriously sleep deprived and it just took a while!
